Mollie Makes

There's a crafty magazine called Mollie Makes that is full of ideas, patterns, websites and aspirational crafty lifestyle pics. Sometimes I follow exactly what they show and sometimes I go 'off piste'.

This was from an early issue and the fruit looks lovely and zingy and spring-like.

Later I used posh-fabric scraps from a 'fill a bag for £1' box to make a more sophisticated autumn version.

I sold them to raise money for the National Autistic Society, except for 2 red apples which have become my pincushions.
