Courtiers (Sockletania part 3)
The are many different Socklets in the realm of Sockletania, each with their own lives, jobs and odd little ways. Those who live closest to the King and Queen are the courtiers, not a privileged position of fashion and nonsense, but a role containing little jobs of office which must be done to keep things running smoothly: clerks and secretaries, foreign ministers, advisors and the like.
