The Coronation (Sockletania part 1)

This lovely couple have been on the throne of Sockletania for 25 years this year, not nearly as long as our present Queen but a long time none the less.

They are celebrating their silver anniversary with a country-wide picnic where villagers and townsfolk bring their own food and drink but the Palace has supplied a giant red and white checked tablecloth for each picnic spot with a coronation emblem on the border and a free slice of chocolate cake for every citizen in the kingdom!

Their reign has been peaceful so far and they are benevolent rulers, but evil things have been afoot recently and things are subtly changing in the kingdom....keep an eye open for future posts from Sockletania!
